This was enjoyable to read and see after a friend of mine in Louisville, KY, sent me your link. My nine year old granddaughter was accepted into a similar program here in the Kansas City, MO, area called Jake's Club. I bought her a protective helmet and boots, plus for her mother who walks beside the horse. She loves the feel of sitting on the horse and riding in the paddock. Due to our surplus of rainstorms this year, she learned an awful lot about grooming a horse and cleaning it's stall. Thank you for bonding one animal to another for a life time of communion.
A grandmother who shares the love of kids and animals; that's me.
