WHAS Crusade for Children: Building the Future
The Crusade Endowment fully funds the Crusade’s future. The Endowment allows the Crusade to continute granting 100% of donations collected on Crusade weekend. The Endowment guarantees that children with special needs will be helped for decades to come. It’s so simple, a kid can explain it. Watch!

Olympic gold medalist and this season’s “Dancing with the Stars” champ Shawn Johnson was in New Albany at SIGS Sportsplex on Thursday, June 11. While there Shawn was treated to a performance by “The Miracle Dancers” from the Diane Moore Dance Academy. The “Miracles” repeated their heart-warming dance to the song Defying Gravity from the Broadway musical Wicked. “Mayor of Mantown” challenge helps Crusade
WQXE radio in Elizabethtown morning host Greg Milby and afternoon drive time DJ Paul Leidy squared off in a firefighter challenge. Central Hardin and Valley Fire Departments hosted the “Mayor of Mantown” event to benefit the WHAS Crusade for Children. It’s all in fun and preparation for the upcoming 56th annual WHAS Crusade for Children on June 6 – 7, 2009 to benefit children with special needs.
