Bowling Green Hot Rods host the Crusade

The Bowling Green Hot Rods, the Class A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays hosted the WHAS Crusade for Children on Friday night, August 14 at Bowling Green Ballpark.

Crusade CEO Dawn Lee threw out the ceremonial first pitch. WBKO-TV’s morning meteorologist Chris Allen was on hand to get the crowd fired up. WBKO and Chris have been longtime partners with the Crusade helping spread the Crusade’s mission across South Central Kentucky.

Crusade fire hats were quite a hit with the kids in the crowd. The supply ran low in a hurry.
