Crusade agencies gather in Lexington
Lunch and idea sharing was on the agenda as Crusade for Children supported agencies gathered on Monday, October 12 at the Hilary Boone Center on the campus of the University of Kentucky.
Grants total $138,557.50!
The nine agencies from Fayette County were presented with ceremonial checks for each of their grants for this fiscal year totalling $138,557.50. The agencies also joined forces with Crusade staff members to brainstorm new ideas for raising more donations in Central Kentucky.
Crusade CEO Dawn Lee also appeared in an interview on WKYT-TV News at noon.
Here’s a list of the groups in attendance:
Bluegrass Technology Center
Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital
CASA of Lexington
Visually Impaired Preschool Services of Lexington
Kentucky Children’s Hospital
Hospice of the Bluegrass
Child Development Centers of the Bluegrass, Inc.
Growing Together Preschool, Inc.
Central Kentucky Special Education Cooperative
More donations = more help for kids
As the WHAS Crusade for Children expands to provide help for more children with special needs, more donations make the magic happen. Each of the agencies at the meeting receive grants from the Crusade. But the Crusade receives limited donations from Fayette County.
Thanks!
The Crusade for Children has great partners like these agencies and WKYT-TV. Without their collective help, the Crusade wouldn’t be possible. Let us know what you think. Help us raise more money in Central Kentucky!
