Finding ways to have fun and relieve stress just got a lot easier for children at Our Lady Of Peace medical facility thanks to the WHAS Crusade for Children.
The Fun Zone at Our Lady Of Peace officially opened its doors. This combination exercise and video interactive space was built thanks to a $100,000 grant from the Crusade.
Jennifer Nolan, CEO, Our Lady Of Peace says, “Crusade means everything. Over the past few years the Crusade has given Our Lady Of Peace more than $700,000 in grants so that we can transform our facility into a kid-friendly space.”
Nolan says the Fun Zone gives children a break from the grind of treatment and in its own way will contribute a lot to the healing process.
