Kentucky employees raise $1.2 million

The annual Kentucky Employees Charitable Campaign closed with a bang this year! At the victory celebration held November 14 at the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet in Frankfort, Lt. Gov. Jerry Abramson (campaign chair) revealed a total of $1,216,595! The WHAS Crusade for Children is one of six charities in the campaign.

The campaign kicked off in July and concluded this week. State employees from all departments and cabinets are given the opportunity to donate to the charity of their choice.
