Stagecoach robbery for the Crusade
It was a scene straight out of the old west in New Haven, Kentucky.
With guns blazing members of Clayton’s Wild Bunch re-enacted a stagecoach robbery to highlight their efforts for the WHAS Crusade for Children. With the help of the Kentucky Railway Museum these outlaws have spent the last year re-enacting the great train robbery. In this case, pretend crime has paid off handsomely for the Crusade for Children.
“On behalf of Clayton’s Wild Bunch and the Kentucky Railway Museum, we’d like to present this check for $2,835 to the Crusade for Children,” announced Linda Ellis of Clayton’s Wild Bunch. “Some of us do it because it’s a lot of fun. We like horses. We like guns. But basically we all have good hearts and we want to give back to our community.”
The 61st WHAS Crusade for Children begins Saturday at 1:00pm here on WHASCrusde.org, WHAS11.com, WHAS11 televsion and 84WHAS radio.
