Run the Second Leg of a Louisville Tradition

The Derby City 10K is the second leg of the Louisville Triple Crown of Running, presented by the Courier Journal, taking place on Saturday, March 21, 2026. This race invites runners to explore the heart of Louisville on foot, passing iconic landmarks like the Kentucky Opera, Jefferson Square Park, the Louisville Slugger Museum, historic Whiskey Row, and Lynn Family Stadium. With a downtown course that finishes at Louisville Slugger Field, it’s a scenic and spirited way to celebrate spring and keep your Triple Crown momentum going.

Race, Revel, Repeat at the Derby City 10K

Whether you’re building on your 5K finish or jumping in fresh, the Derby City 10K offers a welcoming challenge for runners of all levels. The energy of the city, the support of the crowd, and the post-race celebration make this a can’t-miss event.
