DONATE THROUGH YOUR RETIREMENT ACCOUNT
The SECURE 2.0 Act is now law. As of January 1, 2023, the age at which owners of retirement accounts must start taking required minimum distributions has increased to 73. If you turned 72 in 2022 or earlier, you will need to continue taking RMDs as scheduled. Talk to your financial institution about directing your annual RMD to the WHAS Crusade for Children tax-free.
DONATE THROUGH A DONOR ADVISED FUND
A DAF is like a charitable investment account to support charitable organizations you care about. It is one of the most tax-advantageous ways to donate. To learn more about Donor Advised Funds, contact a sponsoring organization such as your local community foundation or a financial service company.
The WHAS Crusade for Children 1954 Society, named after the year in which the organization was founded, is a special group of supporters who have designated a gift by will or trust. Planned gifts can provide donors with significant tax break advantages. The WHAS Crusade for Children is committed to helping donors through the estate planning process to ensure that their legacy wishes are fully met. If you feel compelled to inform the organization of your plans, please fill out this form and a member of the Crusade staff will be in contact.
The WHAS Crusade for Children, Inc. is committed to respecting the privacy of its donors. We have developed this privacy policy to ensure our donors that donor information will not be shared with any third party.
